Ingredients

  • 2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
  • 2 cups (16 ounces) sour cream
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix

Directions

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Spoon into a greased 1-qt. baking dish. Cover and bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until heated through. Yield: 4 servings.

"I use 3 packages of spinach instead of 2, it is not a recipe that knocks your sock off, but if you eat spinach, it is quick and easy. I actually like it better with a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch instead of the onion soup mix. I also throw in some chopped water chestnuts for a little extra texture."

"Fortunately I only made half a recipe of this. The taste of the onion soup mix is very strong. My son and I, both of whom love spinach voted this thumbs down."
