Crisp Marinated Cukes
Total TimePrep: 10 min. + marinating
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
- 2 cups sliced cucumbers
- 1/4 cup sliced onions
- In a bowl, combine the first four ingredients; mix well. Stir in the cucumbers and onions. Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.

This is a favorite cucumber recipe because it isn't so sour as some.

This tastes just as good as the cucumber salad at our local restaurant. Love this salad. So refreshing on a hot summer day. Will definitely make again and again!

These were good, crispy. I peeled them completely, and used a scant 1/2 cup of sugar. Good flavor.

Not only would I make this recipe again but I will have to make it again! Each time I have someone over someone either asks for the recipe or they request I make it ahead of time. Home grown cucs help! Also, I have used green onions instead (because the white onions weren't ready yet.) Also good.

This recipe is wonderful. Not many in my large family like cucumbers, but when I made this for a family gathering, I was surprised to see it all gone after dinner. Everyone said the cucumbers were great! This is definitely one I will make again.
