Made this for Easter and everyone loved it! I used all diced sharp cheddar and instead of Miracle Whip, used a mixture of regular mayo and sugar to taste. This is a great side dish for any summer cookout. We loved the combo of sweet, crunchy peas, creamy cheddar and salty bacon. Very easy to put together and you can make it ahead and store it in the fridge until serving time. I let the peas thaw under cold running water, then drained them well and patted dry to make sure there was no excess water in the salad. Will definitely make this salad again!

This salad is easy to make! I took it to a church dinner. The bacon was a hit and added some great texture.

This is an amazing salad. We like to use chopped ham instead of bacon. You can also use Greek yogurt instead of mayo.
