Cornflake-Coated Crispy Bacon
I've loved my aunt's crispy-coated bacon ever since I was a child. Now I've shared the super simple recipe with my own children. We still enjoy a big panful every Christmas morning—and on many other days throughout the year! —Brenda Severson, Norman, Oklahoma

My grandkids loved this and husband said don't mess with my bacon. BUT it was good, could have used something more to get the cornflakes to stick but we did it and loved them.
I did not have cornflakes, so I used crushed BRAN flakes! I found that I didn't have an easy time dipping the bacon in the cereal. I spooned cereal over sauce-coated bacon and baked the crumb coated bacon as recipe directed-only 25 to 30 minutes on each side after coating each side of the bacon strips with the cereal and rotating pans as recipe directed. My husband was skeptical when he saw that I was coating his bacon with cornflake crumbs, but when I set it out for breakfast he was really impressed! "This is delicious" were the first words out of his mouth! there was a bit of a battle for the last piece!
