Grilled Onion Blossoms

My husband and I grill every weekend without fail. Neither rain nor sleet nor snow can stop us...we're like the post office! Being avid grillers you get creative with recipes and this is one of our favorite grilled side dishes that pairs well with any grilled meat.

Ingredients

4 Large Vidalia Onions
4 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
2 sticks of butter, softened
8 cloves minced garlic
Black pepper

Directions

Peel the onions keeping them in tact. Remove the top 1/2 inch of each onion. Core a small well in the center of each onion. Whisk remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl. Divide the mixture between the onions and fill each center with mixture. Wrap tightly in foil. Place on the top grill rack and grill for approximatley 20 -30 minutes or until onion feels slightly pliable to touch.
