Easy Brunswick Stew

TOTAL TIME: Prep: 10 min. Cook: 15 min. YIELD: 1 serving
True Brunswick Stew is a treat for the tastebuds, but this recipe is a lot easier and quicker for working Moms and one my friends and I use a lot: The recipe came from my friend Maudie who we all call Martha Jr.

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs ground chuck,
1 large sweet onion, chopped,
2 cans of Barbeque Pork (there are several brands available, I usually use Castleberry's),
2 large cans of Chunk Chicken,
2 cans of corn,
l can lima beans,
3 to 4 cans of tomato sauce,
1 regular size bottle Barbeque Sauce (any kind you like will do),
Several sprinkles of Worcesteshire sauce,
Pepper and salt to taste,
Tobasco if desired

Directions

Brown ground chuck and onion. Add this and all the other ingredients to Stew pot and simmer one hour to blend flavors (you could eat it earlier if you are in a hurry...also this is better the next day, sort of like chili). Add Tobasco to individual servings as desired. Serve with cornbread.
