Cola Pork Chops

“Great flavor and simplicity make this recipe one of my favorites,” writes Tracy Reedy from Dublin, Ohio. “Cola adds sparkly tang to the sauce and keeps the chops tender.”

EXCELLENT!!!!! My pork chops were 8 ounces not 5 so I increased the ketchup and cola up to 1/3 of a cup.

This was a really simple recipe that called for ingredients I had on-hand. It smells great while it cooks! Unfortunately, it just didn't appeal to my family's tastes. I think if I tried it again, I would try to season the pork and the ketchup/cola mixture to give it more depth. I would also try to thicken the sauce as it was a little thin for our preference.

This is a fun, easy, and tasty recipe! The tartness of the ketchup combines with the sweetness of the cola to provide a unique and yummy sauce. The onions are a nice complement to the dish.
