Brewed coffee and instant coffee granules add rich color and depth to this sweet-and-sour sauce. It’s wonderful spooned over grilled chicken or pork chops. —Julia Bushree, Georgetown, Texas

"Nice, easy, and delicious barbecue sauce. I omitted the instant coffee because I didn't have any and it was still very delicious. My BBQ sauce hating husband was licking the saucepan. We will be making this again!!"

"I adjusted this recipe to be less tangy and a little sweeter. Used 1/2 cup of vinegar, 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup or more of brown sugar and a little more instant coffee"

"I am the cook in a coffee house in Arkansas... couldn't resist trying the recipe because coffee was one of the ingredients.

The sauce is awesome... I did make a few minor adjustments after the first batch.. cut the cider vinegar by 1/4 cup and added 1/4 cup of molasses.
We used only very strongly brewed espresso coffee in the mix and our customers love it! :)"

"Have made many barbeque sauces over the years. This recipe used ingredients that a had on hand. I was going to use this on chicken breasts, but when it was finished, I knew that it needed to go with pork back ribs. I Slow Smoked (Mesquite) the ribs, for about 2 1/2 hours. Then slathered on the sauce. The family really enjoyed this recipe!!

Will be using this recipe for our daughters University Graduation Party this spring. Thanks for this great recipe."
