This is AWESOME! Kids had spoons out and eating out of the hot pot! Followed directions only substituting red delicious apples. I thought it was perfect. Beautiful color, taste and texture. Impressive results for very little work. As a Taste of Home volunteer food editor I love trying recipes that involve the whole family. Loved by kids and adults!

I have been making this for about 10 years. It is so pretty and easy to make. I do use less of the red hots than it calls for. You only need a little. Kids love this! Candy for dinner? Who knew!
