Chocolate Peanut Butter Mug Cake

- 6 tablespoons 2% milk
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons quick-cooking oats
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
- Spray a 12-ounce coffee mug with cooking spray. Combine milk and oil in mug. Add flour, sugar, oats, baking powder and salt; stir to combine. Add chocolate chips; dollop center with peanut butter.
- Microwave on high until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 2-1/2 minutes. Serve immediately.

Wow! So good, so comforting, so filling and so easy! The only change I'll make next time (and I definitely will be making this again) is to add a few more chocolate chips.

Delicious! I made this without peanut butter because I didn’t have any I also replaced the sugar with Splenda, since I have type 2. It turned out perfect very tasty and I used real organic Cacoa chips. I plan to make this again and the next time around I am going to use coconut flour for a different taste!

After reading the other reviews I started watching the doneness at about 1-1/2 minutes. It was done at 2 minutes, was good. Will make again.

Microwave for 2 min not 2.30. They got hard towards the bottom. Love that they don’t have eggs so kids can lick as much as they want. I made with five kids, age 3-8 and everyone loved them. Some had peanut butter, some didn’t. We added cocoa in place of some of the flour. Everyone had their own cup and added their own ingredients. Fun time.

Not stupendous but ok. I’m not crazy about one big glob of peanut butter in the middle. Should be spread out by teaspoons. Also, be sure to remove cake from mug immediately because it will continue baking and become dry and crumbly. I’d like to try with cinnamon and substituting berries (blueberries?) or chopped apple for chocolate chips.

Way too much peanut butter and cake was very dry. Won’t make again ??.

I haven't made this yet. Sounds delicious, but that's a lot of oil to consume for one person. Has anyone tried it using applesauce?

Very easy to make, but a little too much peanut butter for me. A quick dessert, one my hubby said I could make again!
