I created this after my dad said that my graham cracker crust should be topped with dark chocolate and pecans. It's easy to customize by adding your favorite chocolate and toppers. Dad thinks the whole world should know about this pizza! —Kathy Rairigh, Milford, Indiana

Had a couple of opportunities to make this and both times it was a hit. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Our 4-H club made this for a luncheon dessert for our town's senior citizens. It was a hit - not too filling and not overly sweet. If you take the time to get the graham cracker crumb crust moist enough and pressed well into the pan, it works fine. We also used semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of dark chocolate, and everyone liked it!

I followed the recipe to the letter and after the chocolate was set and the pan cool, I attempted to slice it. The graham cracker crust had no body and just fell apart. I salvaged the chocolate and nuts, made a new crust from sugar cookie dough and the results were fine.

My husband loved it. He's a Dove dark chocolate fanatic. Made it for Valentin's Day.

This is wonderful! If I want to splurge and have dessert, this is the one to choose. Thanks for sharing. I agree with your dad!

Depending on where I would be taking it, I would make it again exactly as the receipe says although a ribbon of caramel across the top sounds very good. For those who want less fat and calories, just think a bit instead of complaining and it's not hard to come up with an easy substitute. Use a pre-made graham cracker, shortbread or any other pie crust. Use dark chocolate pudding and add the pecans on top. Either way, they both taste good.

What makes this a pizza? The slice?

Did not make it but would agree with "Oneina1000" re: a substitute for graham cracker. I don't like graham crackers and am a great cheesecake baker from scratch. Any recipe that calls for graham cracker crust, I inevitably go to vanilla cookies, crush in a zip lock bag, add less sugar & same amt of butter as called for in the particular recipe. Press into pan. If you would prefer shortbread, buy shortbread cookies.

I have not made this myself, however, for those of you who do not like the graham cracker crust, how about a chocolate chip cookie or sugar cookie refridgerated dough? A shortbread dough would be less sweet if the other is too much. Just a suggestion.
