  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3 cups packed brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup soy flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups roasted unsalted soybean nuts, chopped


  1. In a bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in milk and vanilla. Combine flours, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and soybean nuts. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
