Chili Mac
This chili mac has regularly appeared on my family menus for more than 40 years, and it's never failed to please at potlucks and bring-a-dish gatherings. Sometimes I turn it into soup by adding a can of beef broth. —Marie Posavec, Berwyn, Illinois

It sounds great. But what are hot chili beans? Is there a brand I should look for? Thanks.
We liked this dish. Made it on the stovetop, cooking green peppers and onions with the ground beef, drained grease, and added other ingredients to heat. I used beans that weren't hot, celery seed, and my own taco seasoning.
A spicy twist on regular chili mac; the jalapenos give it some real zing! This recipe is easily converted to a stove-top recipe by sauteing the vegetables, adding all the ingredients together and heating them through. Makes great leftovers, too!
Delicious! Used leftover pasta and made my own chili seasonings. Will make this again!
Wonderful comfort food recipe thats easy to make. We're Texans so we added a little more jalapenos, cheese and sour cream as suggested and otherwise followed recipe as written. Will continue to make this chili, its great for a crowd!
Great family food. I really enjoyed topping it with the sliced jalapeno and pepper jack cheese along with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of corn chips.
We had this delicious recipe tonight. I followed the recipe with two changes. I omitted the celery and added a can of Rotel tomatoes. It did not need 6 hours of cooking so we ate about an hour after I started the recipe. Delicious and perfect for cool Fall days. Volunteer Field Editor
I was disappointed with this recipe. I found it bland and felt it "needed something."
It was OK. I added extra seasoning, but still needed a lot more. It was a little bland.
Awesome recipe!- Theresa
