Cherry Crumb Pie Recipe

TOTAL TIME: Prep: 10 min. Bake: 35 min. + cooling YIELD:6-8 servings


  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
  • 1 graham cracker crust (9 inches)
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cold butter or margarine


  • 1. In a bowl, combine cornstarch and water until smooth. Stir in pie filling. Pour into crust. For topping, combine flour, oats and sugars in a small bowl; cut in the butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over filling. Bake at 375° for 35-40 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly. Cool on a wire rack; refrigerate until chilled. Yield: 6-8 servings.
