Celery Seed Bread
- 6 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 4 hot dog rolls, sliced
- 1. In a bowl, combine butter, celery seed, paprika and parsley flakes, stirring well to blend. Spread on cut sides of each roll. Place on baking sheet; broil until golden brown.
1 each: 275 calories, 19g fat (11g saturated fat), 46mg cholesterol, 415mg sodium, 22g carbohydrate (3g sugars, 1g fiber), 4g protein.
Mar 2, 2019This is wonderful. The hint of celery comes through so nicely, The coloring from the paprika makes it very appealing. I had leftover french bread so that is how I prepared. I will definitely make this over and over. Thank you for sharing.

This is one of the first recipes I ever tried as well... It's an oldie but a goodie!!! The celery seeds are an interesting addition - a bit different than the usual garlic bread...
