These bars were wonderful. I changed the butter to 1/3 cup. Definitely will make these again!

I followed the recipe to a tee - baked them 25 minutes, covered and refrigerated them. In the morning when I went to cut them FOR CHURCH - it was a pan of "soup". Very disappointed in this recipe - obviously, something along the way went wrong! Perhaps the base should be baked 15 minutes or so first - but why didn't they set up? I ended up baking chocolate chip cookies at 6:30 a.m. to save face.

this was delicious- would make again = tasted like pecan pie-- gave a scoop of ice cream on side -- every one said they liked and some asked for recipe... I did bake a few minutes longer and used 1/2 walnuts with the pecans.... added about 1/4 cup toffee bits over top too-- a winner!

Very yummy! I would change the name to "OOEY-GOOEY CAKE BARS" as described in the intro box.

these were okay. very sweet and almost had the taste of not cooked, but I think that's how they are supposed to be. I cooked mine even longer than the time stated. Probably would not make again.

Very good and easy! Sweet and rich! Good with a cup of coffee! I baked for 25 mins. Would bake 30 mins next time. Not quite done in the middle. Would also try other reviewers tip to sprinkle chocolate chips on top after taking out of oven.
