Cabbage Saute Recipe
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 medium carrots, thinly sliced
- 6 cups chopped cabbage
- 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1. In a large skillet, saute onion in butter until tender. Add carrots; cook and stir for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
- 2. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serve with a slotted spoon. Yield: 8 servings.
