Butterscotch Mulled Cider

Only five minutes of preparation is needed for this dynamite slow-cooked drink. You will love the sweet taste of butterscotch and cinnamon in the hot apple cider. —Karen Mack, Webster, New York

Ingredients

  • 1 gallon apple cider or juice
  • 2 cups butterscotch schnapps liqueur
  • 8 cinnamon sticks (3 inches)
  • Optional: Apple pieces and additional cinnamon sticks

Directions

  • 1. In a 6-qt. slow cooker, combine the first 3 ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until heated through. If desired, garnish with apple pieces and additional cinnamon sticks.
