Blond Toffee Brownies

Whenever my co-worker brought these brownies to company bake sales, they sold in minutes. After getting the recipe from her, I was happy to discover how quickly they could be thrown together. I was even more excited when my family said that the thin chewy bars are the best they've ever tasted. -Mary Williams Lancaster, California

Excellent bar - chewy, crispy on top, caramel-y and delicious!

I put a handful of chocolate chips on top when removed from the oven and smeared them around. Then added a few mini marshmallows, and broiled until light golden brown. So YUMMY!

These were okay; not great. Seemed dry and crumbly. Kids enjoyed them for a snack. Not sure I will make these again.
