Birthday Cake Shot Tips

Can you use other flavored vodkas in a birthday cake shot?

Cake vodka might be harder to find, especially if you're shopping at smaller, local stores. If you can't find it, swap in vanilla or whipped cream vodka instead.

Can you use frosting and sprinkles to rim the glass?

Absolutely! Before pouring the shot, first dip the rim of the glass in frosting (store bought or homemade) and then in sprinkles.

How do you turn a birthday cake shot into a cocktail?

Turn these fun shots into a tasty birthday cake martini with only a few extra ingredients: amaretto, half-and-half cream and honey.

How do you make birthday cake shots for a group?

To make these birthday cake shots for a group, make several batches in advance and leave them in the refrigerator until ready to enjoy. Then top with whipped cream and sprinkles right before serving. Pair the shots with some easy-to-assemble party foods and other birthday-cake flavored treats for a tasty celebration.
