Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen unsweetened raspberries
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Directions

Place the milk, berries and sugar in a blender; cover and process until smooth. Add ice cubes; cover and process until smooth. Yield: 3 servings.

"Sorry for the miss spelling.

I don't know why not. Soften it some then put it in your blender.
I have done that to smoothies because it is only me also."

"I made it the same as the recipe and then made a few changes the next time.. I used berry blend from Gordans, the drinkable yogurt in place of milk, and it needed no sugar at all.. delicious both ways.."

"I make a wonderful smoothie also.

Take 1/2 cup orange juice; 5 ice cubes; spoonful of peanut butter (organic if you have it); 1 banana; whatever fresh fruit you have (I suggest strawberries & blueberries; a handful of walnuts; 1 tsp flax seed; and half scoop of whey protein (if you have it). Blend till smooth. Oh so yummy and healthy too. Marilyn"

"This sounds really good and I'll try it. I do have a similar smoothie that I make and would like to share: Mix 1 small carton of vanilla or plain yogurt, 1/2 c. pomegranate juice, and 1 c. frozen mixed berries. Blend. Really good.

"try adding some plain yogurt in place of the milk for a thicker shake. if you add Faje or another greek yogurt you will add protien. also, try adding almonds & blend up as directed & that works as protien too.

remember: 20 mins after blending this it starts to change into sugar. so for the healthiest smoothie you should drink it before 20mins has elapsed.
