"I keep several bananas in the freezer so that I'm always ready to whip up this thick beverage for a quick breakfast or a tasty treat," relates Brenda Strohm, Omaha, Nebraska. "Frozen fruit gives it a great's like drinking a berry milk shake!"

  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 medium ripe banana, peeled, cut into chunks and frozen
  • 1/4 cup each frozen unsweetened strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries
  • 1 cup fat-free milk


  • 1. In a blender, combine all the ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 3 servings.

"OMG!! TOTALLY DELICIOUS!!! I think I will be having this quite often... I also added honey, Ceylon cinnamon and a little bit of Stevia for sweetness. healthy, Nutritious and Delicious all in one!!! p.s. I used Greek Yogurt and Almond/Vanilla milk."

"I love smoothies. This one is very good. I changed this a little for our tastes. I used 18 oz of gluten free vanilla yogurt and add 2 tsp of honey to sweeten the smoothie. I also love using frozen fruit in smoothies. It makes them nice and frosty without diluting with ice. Overall this recipe was good and you can try so many variations on it!"
