- 2 cups water
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat; let stand for 5 minutes. Yield: 3 cups.
