Ingredients

  • 20 vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 8 medium firm bananas, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine
  • Vanilla ice cream

Directions

In a small bowl, combine wafer crumbs, sugar and cinnamon; set aside. In a large skillet, saute the bananas in butter over medium heat for 1 minute. Sprinkle with crumb mixture; cook for 3 minutes or until heated through. Serve warm over ice cream. Yield: 8 servings.
