Birthday-morning special, these fluffy pancakes can be flavor adjusted to your heart's content! One of my kids eats the plain banana pancakes, another likes just chocolate chips added, and a third one goes for the works. —Christeen Kelley, Newark, California

"I use semi sweet choc chips and always have to do a double batch, they are my favorite simply because they are sweet enough to just hold in hand and eat!! My 5 kids love them!"

"These were okay. I made a 3/4 batch because that's how much biscuit mix I had on hand, but still used 1 egg (who want's to split an egg up into 3/4s?). I only had 1/2 cup banana too, but didn't alter the milk ratio. I used mini semi-sweet chocolate chips and thought anything more than 1/4 cup was exorbitant. So, I guess I really just made a new recipe... Either way, we didn't like the taste or texture of banana in pancakes, so we won't be making these again."

"My family had mixed reviews about this recipe. One child said too much banana and one said too may choc/peanut butter chips. Everyone agreed that the texture was off and it was way too sweet. Sorry, but we won't be making these again."

"A no-fail recipe. I made 1 1/2 times the recipe and for that amount of batter I used three medium mashed ripe bananas, and about a cup of chocolate chips... turned out perfectly!"

"Seriously the best pancakes I have ever made. Super light and moist. My girls ages 5 and 3.5 loved them. I was a bit short on the banana, so I added about 2 tbls. of plain yogurt and used regular chocolate chips but would like to try with the peanut butter ones. I also am going to make this at some point with frozen berries. EXCELLENT."

"This recipe came out really good. My husband does not like chocolate chips with bananas so I substituted them out with walnuts. He really liked this pancakes. I also cut the recipe in half & made them lower in fat by using the heart healthy bisquick and using skim milk !"
