These pretty green spears of crisp-tender asparagus are drizzled with a balsamic vinegar mixture for a sensational side dish that's ready in no time.—Taste of Home Test Kitchen
In a large skillet, bring water to a boil. Add asparagus; cover and cook for 2-4 minutes or until crisp-tender. In a small bowl, combine the vinegar, butter, garlic, salt and pepper. Drain asparagus; drizzle with balsamic mixture.

I thought this was okay but not great. I'm not sure if I really like the strong flavor of the asparagus with the strong flavor of the vinegar.

Really good! It made a great side dish with my Chicken Tetrazzini or with any main dish that has a heavy cream sauce. This compliments it so well.

This wasn't a big hit with an asparagus lover! The tangy flavor of the sauce only enhanged the bitterness of the asparagus. My taste testers ended up eating the asparagus plain! :(
