Baked Blue Cheese Bites

A friend of mine brought this appetizer to a party at our home and it was such a success that I now make it all the time…and not just for parties, either! These freeze well, but be sure to serve them warm. —Charlotte Warren, Blackstock, South Carolina

  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans

  • Preheat oven to 325°. Beat cheese and butter until blended. Add flour and pecans; mix until a dough forms. Shape into 24 balls. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake until bottoms are lightly browned, 14-16 minutes. Serve warm.
