Bacon Cabbage Stir-Fry

- 6 bacon strips, diced
- 1 small head cabbage, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove to paper towels; drain, reserving 1 tablespoon drippings. Stir-fry cabbage in drippings until tender, 5-7 minutes. Add garlic powder, salt, mustard and bacon; cook and stir until heated through.

This is a nice basic Stir-Fry that opens the door for lots of possibilities. I added several extra ingredients which really bumped up the cabbage quite a bit. Its clean tasting and super easy to make.JanieTaste of Home Volunteer Field Editor

This was surprisingly good. I'm not a huge cabbage fan, but this is really good. It was so fast to prepare and delicious with the pork chops I served for dinner! Will make again.

My family enjoyed this side dish. We thought next time we might add noodles and serve as a meal rather than a side dish. Very good and very easy to make.
