Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 pounds ground pork
  • 8 pieces unsweetened sliced pineapple
  • 8 bacon strips
  • 8 sesame seed hamburger buns, split

Directions

In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble pork over mixture and mix well. Shape into eight patties. Top each with a pineapple slice; wrap with a bacon strip. If grilling the burgers, coat grill rack with cooking spray before starting the grill.
Grill burgers, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer reads 160° and juices run clear. Serve on buns. Yield: 8 servings.

"sooo good!!!!! spread some sweet and sour sauce on the bun before serving gives it even more flavor. Very very good!!!!"
