WHAT white chocolate chips??
I agree with angmclanc. I had never made blondie brownies before so don't know about the best I have tasted, but they were very delicious. I am not allergic to nuts so I left the almond extract in but not the almonds. I substituted the white chocolate chips and raisins for them. Oh so good. Next time I will leave the chips and raisins in and add a few chopped almonds. The texture and flavor were wonderful.
Oh my goodness! I would give this recipe 6 stars if I could. They're the best blondies I've hever had, a perfect mix of cakelike and browie texture. My daughter is allergic to nuts, so I took out the almond extract and substituted 1/4 c. white chocolate chips and1/8 cup craisins for the almonds. Fantabulous!!!!
