Air-Fryer Broccoli

I think broccoli was made to be cooked in an air fryer. It gets tender and still has a nice crunch. And it only gets better with a touch of lemon! —Liz Bellville, Tonasket, Washington
Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper, divided

1-1/2 pounds fresh broccoli florets (about 12 cups)

1/4 cup chopped almonds

2 teaspoons grated lemon zest

Lemon wedges, optional
Directions

Preheat air fryer to 400°. In a large bowl, whisk oil, lemon juice, salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper until blended; add broccoli and toss to coat. Arrange broccoli in a single layer on greased tray in air-fryer basket.

Cook until tender, 8-10 minutes. Transfer to a serving dish. Sprinkle with almonds, lemon zest and remaining 1/8 teaspoon pepper; toss to combine. If desired, serve with lemon wedges.
