Basic Brown Betty

Have some day-old white bread you’d like to use up? This apple brown betty is quick, easy and very good. Start by coating a baking dish with butter-flavored nonstick cooking spray. Dip slices of the bread in milk and use them to line the bottom of the dish. Top the bread with peeled sliced apples and dot with butter. Sprinkle with raisins, cinnamon and sugar.
