Low-Salt Diet Tips

On a low-salt diet, I’m allowed just 1,000 mg of sodium per day. So I use Mrs. Dash Salt-Free Seasoning Blend and cider vinegar instead of salt at the end of cooking dishes such as stews, soups and sauces. Sometimes I add a little sugar if needed to boost the flavor. When baking, I use no-sodium baking powder instead of regular baking powder. It can be found in health-food stores.
