Bread Crumbs

Whenever I have a roll or bagel, I scoop out some of the bread inside to cut down on calories and provide some room for filling. I put the scooped-out bread in a resealable plastic bag and keep it in the freezer. When I need bread crumbs, I defrost the bread pieces, toast them in the oven, then process into crumbs in my food processor. Or if I need bread for stuffing, I just defrost the pieces and use them as I would bread cubes. Ellen G., Aventura, Florida
