How-to Make Peppermint Lolllipops

Heat: Cook and stir candy ingredients over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil and cook, without stirring, until the candy thermometer reads 300º.

Pour: After tint is prepared, carefully our sugar mixture into each cookie cutter or mold. Syrup should fill the molds all the way to the edges.

Design: Slowly drop in red or green tinted color mixture. Use a toothpick to carefully swirl in the color. Experiment with creating a pattern.

Adorn: Just before the candy sets, remove from molds, insert stick and decorate with crushed peppermint pieces, or whatever candy you prefer.
