How-to Make an Omelet
Heat oil or butter in a 10-in. nonstick skillet over medium- high heat. Add the egg mixture (mixture should set immediately at edges). As eggs set, push cooked edges toward the center, letting the uncooked portion flow underneath.
Allow the eggs to set, and then sprinkle your favorite filling ingredients (such as ham, chopped tomato or shredded cheese) over half of the omelet. Fold omelet in half. Proceed as recipe directs.
