Sausage Perk Up

I buy sausage in large quantities when it’s on sale. I brown it, then pack it in small resealable plastic bags. I put them all in one large freezer bag and label, date and freeze it. Then, whenever I need small amounts of browned sausage to perk up a quick Sunday morning omelet or top a last-minute pizza, it’s readily available. —Dolores Skrout, Summerhill, Pennsylvania
