If we travel all the way back to 1910, we’ll be greeted with vintage recipes for salads, pork chops, chowder, cookies, fudge and more. Do any of these look familiar to you?
The Roaring ’20s were full of vintage recipes like oysters Rockefeller, finger sandwiches, puff pancakes and divinity, a meringue treat that’s, well…divine.
Meat patties, cornmeal pancakes and meatloaf will give you a taste of the 1940s. With World War II going on, food was rationed and nothing was wasted.
Many of grandma’s recipes we love so much came out of the 1950s. That’s when we got gelatin salads, tuna noodle casserole, deviled eggs and so much more.
