Seven Glaciers, Girdwood
Seven Glaciers calls the Alyeska Resort home, and the views are mesmerizing! On February 14th, a chef’s tasting menu will consist of a crab platter, poached oysters or vegetable salad or duck ravioli. White chocolate mousse, cacao meringue, chocolate sorbet and a ruby port will follow for dessert.
Different Pointe of View at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, Phoenix
Watch the city lights twinkle below you, as you dine 1,800 feet above the Valley of the Sun. Different Point of View will have a four-course prix fixe menu for the evening, including items such as lobster bisque, Chilean sea bass, venison strip loin and creme brulee. Faith and Flower, Los Angeles
The warm, refined environment at Faith and Flower will be sure to impress your date. Their three-course meal for the night includes appetizer options like marinated hearts of palm and confit duck leg. Your entree choices will be salmon, chicken breast, beets and greens or braised short rib. Save room dessert: Chocolaty fondue topped with fruits, marshmallows and cookies for dipping.
Royal Gorge Route, Canon City
The Royal Gorge Route is not your typical dinner, but it will definitely make for a memorable experience. Choose from a three-course lunch or dinner, and dine while taking a lovely train ride through the Royal Gorge. A rose and a glass of sparkling wine (per guest) is included. Columbus Inn, Wilmington
Reservations are required at Columbus Inn’s Valentine’s Day dinner, and the regular and happy hour menus will not be available. Instead, diners will be treated to four-course meals with a wine pairing available to add. Not a fan of wine? Try their specialty cocktails: Love Potion #9 or the Blood Orange Cosmo. Champagne is available by the bottle, and dessert will feature seasonal selections. If you are wine fan, make sure you know the best wineries around.
The contemporary decor won’t make the experience any less sweet at Saltyard, although it is a more casual dining climate. The plates are beautifully spread and dinner specials will be available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Note that their regular a la carte items will be limited during this weekend because of the specials. Sometimes a casual atmosphere serves up some of the best food.
Beachhouse at the Moana, Honolulu
The open-air dining at this spot makes for a warm and inviting date night. Granted, Hawaii is already a pretty romantic spot to spend Valentine’s Day! The Beachhouse at the Moana could make it even more special. From 5:30-9:30 p.m., indulge in their five-course dinner on the veranda.

HoQ, Des Moines
HoQ is celebrating the day of love for two days—the 14th and the 15th. They’ll offer a four-course dinner along with an additional wine pairing. You’ll feast on mushroom bisque, duck, crab cakes and chocolate terrine.
On the night of the 14th, Twelve will offer a Valentine’s Day special. The night of the 15th, they will have a three-course dinner, which includes seared chicken breasts, marsala beef and scallops as the entrees. Red velvet layer cake or a chocolate brownie will appease your sweet tooth.
Whitehall House & Gardens, Louisville
Built around 1855, Whitehall Mansion is now a historic part of Kentucky. This candlelit Valentine’s dinner at the estate includes wine pairings. Your entree selection must be made at the time you purchase your ticket. Choose from chicken marsala, beef tenderloin medallions or baked polenta lasagna puttanesca.
Josephine Estelle, New Orleans
This bright, airy New Orleans establishment marries the American South with Italy. Josephine Estelle will offer their regular menu, along with a bit of something special for the lovebirds who visit. Top of the East, Portland
It’s never your average dinner at Top of the East. Besides magnificent views of Portland and Casco Bay, the restaurant will also be hosting a burlesque on the 13th from 8-11 p.m. It is expected to sell out, so reserve quickly if you’re interested in even more spectacular views! Regular dining will resume on the 14th.
Although they don’t advertise a specific Valentine’s Day menu, you and your date can still enjoy a special dining experience together in Baltimore. 1908 Provisions is a farm-to-table restaurant in the historic Fairview Inn. “Rustic warmth” might be the best way to describe the classic atmosphere of Gram and Dun. Both contemporary and inviting, Society 1854‘s dishes use ingredients that have been sourced from local farmers. They’ve only given one hint about a meal from the Valentine’s Day menu, and it’s a brightly hued charcuterie board. All we know about the rest of the menu is that the dishes will be specifically crafted for the special day.
The Strip House, Las Vegas
They have a 24-layer chocolate cake—need we say more? The interior of the restaurant is lavish in passionate dark ruby tones—fitting for a night of romance. Strip House advertises making reservations, but they don’t have a pre-set menu for the evening. Here are even more steakhouses to get you in the mood.

It’s fitting that Amanda’s is located in the city where Frank Sinatra was born—it has every bit the sultry appeal as Ol’ Blue Eyes’ most memorable songs. El Pinto, Albuquerque

The Milling Room, New York
The Milling Room is reminiscent of a botanic garden with its high-vaulted, skylight ceiling. Dine in sophistication and sate your appetite with their three-course Valentine’s Day prix fixe dinner. A perfect mix of contemporary and vintage, The Guild House will provide a whimsical dining experience for you and your sweetie pie. The American dishes are made from local ingredients, and they’ll have roasted grouper and butter-poached lobster tail for their Valentine’s special. Castle Falls Restaurant & Venue, Oklahoma City
This historic castle near Oklahoma City looks like it’s right out of a fairy tale. Live music and cocktails will be available in the Grand Hall of Castle Falls on the 14th, followed by the full-course dinner, which includes filet and lobster. On the 13th and 15th, their full menu will be available.
Spring Mill Café, Conshohocken
Reminiscent of a French country home and kitchen, Spring Mill Café is a picturesque Valentine’s Day setting. The last course of their full-course meal is a cheese tasting. An assortment of house-made desserts will be offered following the final course. Yummy.
Chapel Grille, Cranston
Goin’ to the chapel and we’re gonna get some special entrees… Chapel Grille‘s Valentine’s Day menu includes calamari, tuna tartare, pink tomato bisque, grilled lamb chops, eggplant Parmesan, stuffed lobster and filet mignon, just to name a few.
Located in the Hotel Bennett, Gabrielle is a polished, modern establishment with a bit of old world charm. Their Valentine’s Day supper utilizes the talents of a French Artisan Executive Chef, and your dessert options are vanilla creme brulee or a chocolate parfait. Carnaval, Sioux Falls
If you’re looking for a something a little unique—compared to quaint American restaurants or elegant Italian spots—a Brazilian grill could be a fun alternative. Carnaval cuts the meat right at your table, and they are hosting a Valentine’s dinner from 4-10 p.m. on the 14th.
Earnest Bar & Hideaway, Nashville
Perhaps Hemingway was a little more gruff than romantic, but the Earnest Bar and Hideaway that is inspired from his works is a fanciful night out. On Valentine’s Day, there will be a full specialty dinner with the option to add a cocktail and wine pairing—how could you say “no” in an establishment that celebrates Hemingway? Rum was his drink of choice, like the El Floridita Daiquiri.

Michael’s on the Hill, Waterbury Center
Michael’s on the Hill is quaint and alluring, tucked into the serene Vermont landscape. From 4:30-9:30 p.m. on Valentine’s Day, a Valentine’s tasting menu will be available. For the entire weekend, the full winter menu and a special tasting menu will be offered. Add a wine pairing for an additional fee.
Goodstone Inn & Restaurant, Middleburg
Escape to the French-inspired country estate Goodstone Inn. The Goodstone will have a four- and five-course tasting menu to choose from. Enjoy a romantic dinner from the 10th through the 16th—excluding the 11th. Since the restaurant is on the inn’s property, you have the option of staying in their luxury accommodations for an extra-special evening. You know “Virginia Is for Lovers”, right?
At Lark, you can look forward to oysters as a first course on February 14th. Yellowtail crudo is part of the second, and Wagyu steak or California halibut are options for the third. Totally sate your sweet tooth cravings with either a passion fruit sorbet or a pineapple rum tart.
Plume at the Jefferson Hotel, D.C.
Nosh in pomp and circumstance at Plume, where the atmosphere is grandiose and the dishes are delicate. The multi-course tasting menu includes Norwegian cod with Kaluga caviar, prime beef tenderloin and a Meyer lemon sponge pastry. Drink pairings are not included, but can be added.
Le Bistro, Huntington
