Year in Review Worksheet
Reminisce on the past year with this fun New Year’s Eve activity for kids. Fill one out yourself and share each other’s favorite memories from the year past and what you’re looking forward to in 2021. Pull out the photo albums to relive your favorite moments even further.
Party Hats
Is it really New Year’s Eve if you don’t throw on a festive hat? Count down the New Year in style with these colorable hats. Or maybe even hop on a Zoom call for a virtual New Year’s party with your festive gear. Tape the other end of the hat to the dotted line to make. Hole punch two holes near your ears and knot a string at both ends to make a comfortable chin strap.
Coloring Pages
Let the kids go wild with their coloring creations. Just print and break out the crayons for a night of endless fun. Switch things up by throwing markers, glitter and stickers into the mix. To limit a glittery mess, add glue and shake glitter onto the paper over a garbage can.
Photobooth Props
Set up your own DIY photobooth for the night. All you need is a celebratory backdrop (our New Year’s Eve banner would be the perfect backdrop), these printable props and your phone. Set up your phone’s self-timer and strike a pose! Helpful tip: use your front-facing camera, if your phone has one, so you can pose with ease.
NYE Banner
Whether you use it as a photo backdrop or as a festive decoration, this banner is the perfect addition to your family’s New Year’s celebration. To use, hole punch two holes at the top to slip a rope or string through. Or tape string onto the back of each pendant and attach directly to the wall.
Festive Bingo
Wind the night down with a round of Bingo while you’re snacking on some New Year’s finger foods. Winner gets first pick on their prize: crowns, party poppers or a tasty New Year’s Eve treat—like these New Year’s Cupcakes. Shape the Air Head candies into any festive shape you like, like a countdown clock.
