Amazon Prime Day 2021 is almost here! Well, really, Amazon Prime DAYS are almost here! Amazon’s super sale of 48-hour savings kicks off at midnight on June 21 and runs through June 22. We’ve previewed some of the deals, and while we’re super excited we can’t yet reveal what items will be on sale or the discounted prices. Over two million items are getting marked down, and the deals will be fast, furious and sell out quick.
Taste of Home digital editors are preparing for the shopping extravaganza by making a wish list of all the kitchen and home items we HOPE go on sale for Amazon Prime Day. And if they don’t? We’ll probably add them to our carts anyway. Happy Prime!
Keep in mind, the Amazon Prime sales are only open to Prime members. Don’t have a Prime membership yet? Sign up for a free 30-day Amazon Prime trial. Right this way to even more kitchen and home deals.
Le Creuset Pepper Mill
After a day of editing digital articles for Taste of Home, I love to get in the kitchen and make a home-cooked meal. Every once in awhile, I treat myself to a really nice gadget or appliance for the kitchen. It took me years to commit to spending $40 on a salt container, but I have zero regrets. Now a few years later, I think I’m finally ready to splurge on a pepper mill. The Le Creuset Pepper Mill is gorgeous, and since I’ll use it almost every day, I know it’ll be worth it.—Emily Racette Parulski, Senior Editor

Wicker Patio Furniture Set
Last summer, my wife and I renovated our front porch. Now it’s absolutely gorgeous—but we have nowhere to sit! I love that this patio furniture set has ottomans that tuck beneath the chairs to save space when we’re not using them, plus a side table for a quick weeknight cocktail.—Lara Euclano, Senior Editor
AeroGarden Indoor Hydroponic Garden
I love fresh herbs. But as someone with a less-than-green thumb, it can be a struggle to keep plants alive. That’s where this high-tech AeroGarden comes in. It features smart technology that tells you when it’s time to water or fertilize your plants, and an LED grow light system automatically turns on and off as needed. Plus, the AeroGarden’s sleek design takes up just a small amount of counter space—perfect for us apartment dwellers!—Katie Bandurski, Associate Editor

Smeg 50s Retro Toaster
I’m a sucker for aesthetically pleasing kitchen appliances. But as a Commerce Editor, I can’t overlook quality—which is why I love Smeg. The Italian appliance manufacturer has been designing and perfecting kitchen electronics since the late 40s. The Smeg 50s Retro Toaster features six browning levels and extra wide slots to toast even the thickest slices of ciabatta. The removable crumb tray makes cleaning easy. And the look? This toaster can live on the kitchen counter permanently—right next to my Smeg electric kettle. —Megan Wood, Commerce Affiliate Marketing Editor

Colored Plastic Mason Jar Lids
I use mason jars for everything—in the kitchen, of course, plus in the bathroom, in my home office, even when packing snacks for trips. Mason jars are such an easy, eco-friendly way to get organized and I love the way they look all lined up. I’ve been eyeing these cheery dishwasher-safe lids because who doesn’t want a fun pop of color in the cabinet? The different colors will come in especially handy for meal prep.—Rachel Vigoda, Senior Editor
