People Are Turning White Claws Into Beautiful Coasters with This Easy TikTok Tutorial

Your White Claw cans don't need to go in the trash. These White Claw coasters are so chic—we're making them all summer long!

We’re learning all kinds of tips, tricks and hacks from the ingenious folks on TikTok lately. Snacktime just isn’t the same if you’re not “milking” cucumbers to release the bitterness, and breakfast tastes so much better with a chilled glass of whipped coffee. Now, one TikTok creator has figured out how to recycle White Claw cans in the cutest way possible.

These White Claw coasters are as easy to make as they are gorgeous! Add this project to your weekend bucket list—your coffee table will thank you.

We’ll Never Buy Coasters Again

Why spend the dough when you’ve got the ideal coaster already in your fridge? TikTok user @KreativelyKelly dropped a tutorial for White Claw coasters, and commenters immediately fell in love. The steps are easy enough to follow along with, and you can create a whole roster of coasters out of your favorite White Claw flavors.

Kelly regularly sells her creations on Instagram, though the White Claw coasters are out of stock at the moment, since fans can’t help but swipe them up. There’s no telling when they’ll be back in stock, but in the meantime, we’ll be whipping up some coasters of our own. You don’t have to stick to White Claw, either—this tutorial works for any favorite craft beer or soda that comes in a can.

What Do I Need to Get Started?

This weekend project doesn’t ask for much. All you’ll need is a White Claw can, a pair of scissors, glue, a sanding sponge, black paint, thin plywood circles, corkboard and resin for that glassy, professional finish.

Kelly also has an easy-to-access list of supplies on Amazon, so you can start creating without heading to the craft store. We don’t know about you, but we’re ordering our DIY supplies ASAP—we just can’t go on without these coasters! If you’re still looking for something cute but functional to do with your downtime, check out these DIY projects that won’t break the bank.
