It feels like there’s a food holiday for everything now, and there’s something wholesomely fun about them. National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend is upon us (February 20-22 this year), and that’s one day, well an entire weekend, that I can definitely get behind.

I will never forget the life-changing experience I had this time last year. I went to the Wendy’s near me and ordered the chain’s latest Frosty innovation: the Thin Mint Frosty. In disbelief over how good it was, I ended up getting it three days in a row because I kept taking friends and family members with me to try it out. I went from being ambivalent on Thin Mints to becoming a full-fledged fan. It turns out that I just needed to truly appreciate the flavors, which is exactly what the Thin Mint Frosty allowed me to do.

And the best news? The minty Frosty is back at Wendy’s for a limited time—and in true Girl Scout fashion, it brought a friend: “Make new friends, but keep the old.” Don’t mind if I do, Wendy’s!

What’s the new Thin Mint Frosty offering at Wendy’s?

The Thin Mint Frosty is back and the Thin Mint Frosty Fusion is new. Both are available now at participating Wendy’s locations nationwide. They’re available just in time for National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend, but I’ll be ordering them for as long as they’re on the menu.

The original Thin Mint Frosty combines a minty cookie crumble sauce with your choice of the standard chocolate or vanilla Frosty base. I definitely prefer the chocolate Frosty, but it’s nice to have options. And if you really want to step it up a notch, then you have to try the new Thin Mint Frosty Fusion. This has a swirl of both chocolate and vanilla Frosty, plus the minty cookie sauce and crushed Thin Mint cookies. It’s basically heaven in a cup for any Thin Mint-lovers out there!

How long will the Thin Mint Frosty be available?

Just like Girl Scout cookie season lasts a short while, so too will the Wendy’s Thin Mint Frosty and Frosty Fusion. They’ll be available for a limited time only, while supplies last. I remember that it sold out fairly quickly last year, so if you want to try this treat, I’d head to your nearest Wendy’s as soon as possible.
