Trader Joe’s JUST Brought Back Their Famous Peonies—for a Limited Time

Trader Joe's peonies are guaranteed to brighten your day!

Trader Joe’s isn’t just the place for an amazing selection of frozen food and 2-Buck Chuck. They’re also great for all your snacking needs, dropping new and delicious TJ’s finds every month.

The grocer should also be on your list for fresh flowers, like the peonies that are back in stock! We’re adding them to the list of things you should only buy from Trader Joe’s.

When Can I Buy Peonies?

Trader Joe’s peonies are already available in stores as of May 27. Prices will likely vary by location but expect to pay around $8.99 for a bunch of five, a bargain for so much pretty fluff. Look for hues ranging from rosy pinks to purples to stark white.

The floral section is hard to miss when you first enter the store, and you’ll want to get there soon because when Trader Joe’s peonies are back in stock, they don’t last long! Like many things in this world, these peonies are seasonal, so when they’re gone, they’re gone for good.

How to Care for Your Peonies

Trader Joe’s helpfully details how to care for these blooms. They arrive tightly wound, roughly the size of golf ball. But after cutting the stems at a 45-degree angle and placing them in a vase filled with water, the blossoms unfurl and expand, showing their true colors.

It’s important to note that fresh flowers aren’t just eye candy, they’re also good for our emotional well-being. This study discovered that having fresh flowers around improves our moods and significantly lowers our stress levels. We feel more relaxed already!
