Taco Bell’s Beefy Potato-Rito Is Back, and It’s Only $1

The Potato-rito is $1 right now. Enough said!

You know how invested we are in Taco Bell. As much as we love this Tex-Mex food chain, we’ve had some beef with Taco Bell over the last few months. Back in August, two popular potato items—Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes and Spicy Potato Soft Taco—were wiped from the menu, leaving fans distraught. Both have since returned thanks to popular demand, and with them comes another fan favorite, the Beefy Potato-rito.

What Is the Beefy Potato-Rito?

Taco Bell’s latest addition features the chain’s crispy and seasoned potato bites, seasoned beef and a layer of nacho cheese, all topped with creamy chipotle sauce and wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. But this delicious potato-and-beef combo isn’t the only reason we’re excited for the burrito’s return. The Potato-rito is only $1 right now. No, that’s not a typo. It’s the truth!

The Potato-rito earns bonus points for being customizable, too. It’s not officially certified vegan, but you can opt to remove the beef and have beans instead. And ordering the burrito “fresco style” will remove the cheese and chipotle sauce.

When Can We Grab One?

The official return of the Beefy Potato-rito is April 15, 2021, so mark your calendars and stake out your nearest Taco Bell location. To satisfy your cravings while you wait, spend some time in the kitchen with these Taco Bell copycat recipes.

Even though this is good news, we need to be honest—the $1 Beefy Potato-rito is only back on the menu for a limited time and won’t be around forever. It’s definitely worth a taste ASAP, because all good things must come to an end.
