Taco Bell fans couldn’t get enough the first time around!

Taco Bell Is Bringing Back the Menu Item That Vanished in Just One Week

Taco Bell is suddenly coming for McDonald’s and Chick-fil-A. When the Bell added Crispy Chicken Nuggets to its menu last year, fans could not get enough. The nugs sold out across the country in less than a week!
Now, after a four-month hiatus, Crispy Chicken Nuggets will be back at Taco Bell—and crispy chicken will be on its permanent menu by 2026.
Welcome Back, Taco Bell Chicken Nuggets
I was already reeling from the drop of the Taco Bell Decades Menu and all its nostalgic components when I heard the original nugget news. And trust me, it was totally out of left field. But once I tried the nuggets, I knew Taco Bell fans would be obsessed.
Like the first drop, T-Bell’s returning Crispy Chicken Nuggets will be made with all-white chicken meat, marinated in jalapeno buttermilk and breaded with a crunchy tortilla chip mixture.
The returning sauces are Bell Sauce (a tangy sauce made with tomatoes, red chiles and garlic), Jalapeno Honey Mustard, and Hidden Valley Fire Ranch (a blend of Taco Bell’s Fire Sauce packets and ranch dip). That’s three sauce options for your dipping pleasure!
While the nuggets may not taste like our beloved Nacho Fries, they’re still a unique take on the almighty menu item. The real question is…why chicken nuggets, Taco Bell? We may never know.
Taco Bell Chicken Nuggets Return Date
Crispy Chicken Nuggets return to Taco Bell’s menu on April 24, 2025. We don’t have confirmation about when they’ll be departing our lives, but a Taco Bell press release says this will be “their longest run yet.”
If you see them at Taco Bell, make sure to order them before they fly the coop. You can order a 5-piece or 10-piece nuggets with sauce for $3.99 and $6.99, respectively. Taco Bell is also doing 5-piece and 10-piece combos with Nacho Fries!
