It’s hot and humid right now, so we’re looking forward to the cool fall months. It won’t be long before we’re drinking apple cider, Pumpkin Spice Lattes and of course…lots and lots of hot chocolate.
Now, a cup of classic hot chocolate can’t be beat in our book, but we like to change it up sometimes. Whether it’s hot cocoa bombs or a shot of Kahlua, a little somethin’ extra makes hot cocoa even better. To make things simple for us, Swiss Miss dropped its new Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate in time for fall!
How Much Salted Caramel Is in This Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate?
Based on early reviews, we’re expecting this Swiss Miss to taste like traditional hot cocoa, with a dash of caramel sweetness and a pinch of salt to bring it all together. You can top it off with marshmallows and perhaps a splash of salted caramel sauce for an extra hit of sweetness.
Just a bit of salt always makes cocoa taste sweeter, and salted caramel is no different. There’s a reason it’s one of our favorite fall flavors, and Swiss Miss is going to be the perfect way to warm up when the weather cools down.
Of course, like other Swiss Miss creations, it’s super easy to make. You empty the packet into a mug, add water (or milk for a richer taste), stir and enjoy! Now that’s what we call a perfect fall drink.

Look for Swiss Miss Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate at Walmart. It might already be at your local grocery store, too. The best part? This is going to become a permanent part of the Swiss Miss lineup, so you can indulge in the caramelly, chocolatey goodness to your heart’s content.
