Looks like the new 3 MUSKETEERS bar isn’t the only thing to look forward to this January! Snickers will also be releasing three new bars—and they are revolutionary.
We can always count on Snickers to satisfy our salty and sweet cravings. I mean, they even have a new Salty & Sweet flavor which Snickers released with two other flavors this summer, giving an extra salty punch to the delicious candy bar we know and love. However, if you’re not a huge fan of having actual nuts in your sweets (*cough* me *cough*), the newest set of Snickers bars are for you. And I’m telling you right now, you are not going to want to miss them.
So what are the new flavors?
Snickers released three new creamy flavors, giving candy lovers like myself the Snickers that they’ve always dreamed of. Instead of having actual nuts in the bars, these Snickers are working with popular nut butters:
- Almond Butter
- Peanut Butter
- Maple Almond Butter.
In their recent press release, Snickers says that they are “replacing classic crunch with smooth satisfaction,” and claims this is the biggest product innovation the brand has seen in recent history.
“For nearly a century, fans have made the classic SNICKERS® bar an icon with its satisfying layers of nougat, caramel and signature peanut crunch,” said Josh Olken, Snickers Brand Director, for the press release. “We listened to our consumers’ desires for new tastes like almond butter and paired it with an innovation on texture. With Creamy SNICKERS® bars, our fans can discover new tastes, and can now get SNICKERS® satisfaction in both crunchy and smooth.”

When are they on shelves?
January 2019, and get this, they now come in sharing sizes! Can’t finish a whole candy bar yourself? Mars, Incorporated (the company that owns popular candy bars such as Snickers and 3 MUSKETEERS) have been rolling out sharing sizes for their popular bars. You can actually buy an already split candy bar to easily split with a friend. Along with the share size, you can buy a single bar (which is the same size as half of the share size) and a stand-up pouch of mini Snickers.
