You probably enjoy a side of chips with a sandwich. But what about eating the sandwich in chip form? Pringles has created an unusual new flavor to make that possible! It’s an homage to the classic Reuben sandwich and brings together the flavors of corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, dressing and rye bread.
Take a look at the sandwich-inspired Pringles packaging for yourself:
We sample every single Pringles flavor. Here’s how they rank.
What Do Reuben Pringles Taste Like?
The latest Pringles flavor attempts to combine several flavor profiles into one chip. Does it hit the mark? On Instagram, reviewer @i_need_a_snack had good things to say:
I think first off you for sure taste the tangyness from the sauerkraut and dressing followed by a HINT of salty/meaty taste from the corned beef. As far as the rye and cheese I honestly didn’t taste it and that doesn’t make these bad, I actually really enjoyed these Pringles and I’m not even the biggest Reuben fan!
In the past, Pringles has created a Thanksgiving dinner collection, complete with turkey, stuffing and mashed potato chips, so it’s not entirely surprising that their latest release is also for those with an adventurous palate.
Where Can I Find Them?
Right now, there’s not too much information about where to find the Reuben Pringles. They have been spotted at Walgreens and Duane Reade, but it’s unclear if a wider release is planned. The packaging does say that these Pringles are available for a “limited time only,” so we’d start shopping ASAP!
