Popeyes Is Now Serving This Glorious Deep-Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Pie

It's the perfect dessert after a Popeyes chicken sandwich.

A few months ago, Popeyes debuted their first-ever chicken sandwich. Popeyes crispy chicken is perfect for a savory meal, so it’s no surprise their chicken sandwich was a huge hit. But is there something even better on the menu?

Answer: YES.

Popeyes just launched a deep-fried dessert: Strawberry Cheesecake Pie.

Is This as Good as the Chicken Sandwich?

This is all the creamy, fruity goodness you get in a classic strawberry cheesecake but packed into a convenient, handheld pie. The pie is stuffed with cheesecake and strawberry filling, then coated in a layer of graham cracker crumbs. Finally, it’s deep-fried to golden perfection.

If this sounds familiar, you might be thinking about the Strawberry ‘n Cream Cheese Pie from a few years back. However, this new pie is definitely a step up since we get to indulge in real cheesecake.

This new Strawberry Cheesecake Pie sounds like it’s going to be even better than the chicken sandwich. Here’s what you probably didn’t know about Popeyes chicken.
